| Construction
and function Normally, the belt plow scrapes the conveying material to both sides of the belt path. The plow blade is symmetrically formed and throws proportioned amounts of material to both sides of the belt. Together with the scraping table, the plow is an independent unit that can be completely integrated into the VHV modular system. However, it may also be assembled in an existing conveyor fabrication without any problem. Conveying material is deviated sidewards by the stainless steel plow blade. The trickling passage of the material and back-up pressure is minimized by the guide and arc of the plow blade. The two component replaceable rubber-cleaning strip is easy maintain. In the middle section, the rubber belt runs on support rollers, and in the external section, it runs on sliding surfaces that are resistant to wear. Special track-supporting guiding rollers center the belt without burding its edges unnecessarily. The sliding surfaces on which the material will be directed at the lower tower are covered by wear |

Attached after the plow blade, centring scrapers are at both sides of the belt that direct the material from the edges of the plow to the center. The knuckle joints at the pneumatic cylinder are suspended in slide bushings at both sides, while the plow body is fixed by stable ball bearings | ||||

Modified models of scraping plough In a modified model, the plow blade can be opened and closed. This way, in the operating position, parts of conveying material can be deviated sidewards if necessary while the material passes the middle section. Several operation plows can be positioned one after the other and direct the conveying section of the plow. Additionally, there is the scraping plow with a rigid open center. Then material can pass through the middle section of the plow. In a further modified model, material can also be thrown to one side. This requires a longer sliding table based upon the width of the belt, and optional guiding rollers may be needed to prevent the belt from tracking to one side. |
