If a conveyor belt is loaded from one side, the belt runs out-of-centre to the side with less load.
The impact apron is mounted at the discharge of the upstream belt conveyor
and limits the discharge parabola with a weight-loaded rubber impact plate.

The distance between the impact plate and the drive drum is fully variable.
